Welcome

Welcome to your personal wedding website blog. You can click on the text to start editing it. We have included some sample ideas for you to share.

How We Met - I was working as a home health/visiting nurse. Eddie was a "Schwan's Man" (home food delivery service). Our home health office was one of his stops. I started ordering some foods from him, and would take them home at the end of the day. Soon, with many of the nurses ordering, there wasn't enough room in the freezer to hold everyone's orders till the end of the day. I had mine delivered to my home. Each time Eddie came to deliver the food items, we talked a little longer, getting to know each other better. Soon the visits were ending with a few kisses. We were both divorced, and I guess ready to start over. And it just progressed from there............

The Proposal - Actually, I am the one who proposed. It was 'leap day' (sometimes know as Sadie Hawkins Day) - where the girl is allowed to do the asking/proposing. LOL. I took him to his favorite restaurant, "Luigi's". There we were, sitting at our little round table with the red and white checkered tablecloth and candle in the center of the table. We had a wonderful feels, and several glasses of wine later.....  before the dessert was served.... I got down on one knee, and asked him to marry me. Instead of a diamond ring, it was a diamond accented watch, with an engraving on the back saying "Will you marry me?" 2/29/04.  He said "yes", after just a brief hesitation. LOL.

A Las Vegas Wedding

My company chose me to represent them at the Annual CMCA Conference in Las Vegas. We had been to Las Vegas several times in the past, so I accepted. I asked my husband to go along, as I don't like to travel/fly alone. The reservations were made. Our Wedding Anniversary just happened to be that week. So, the wheels started turning, as to what we could do special for our Anniversary. Eddie is a huge Elvis fan. So, I decided to surprise him with an Anniversary gift of Renewing Our Vows at the Elvis Wedding Chapel.  I spoke with Ramona, our Wedding Coordinator, and she put everything together for me. He still doesn't know, but I am hoping he will LOVE it!!
